Frank Delahanty
Is co-founder and chief executive officer of Collegiate Athlete, Inc. (CAI). In addition, he is chief executive officer of Collegiate Athlete Educational Foundation (CAEF). Frank will oversee overall operations as well as secure strategic partners for both CAI and CAEF. He is also founder and managing partner of Blu2, LLC. This company provides research, sales and marketing consulting services. Customers include: Honeywell, NASA, WinsAmerica, Simple Products, Inc., Golf Scooter.Com and High Performance Fitness. Prior to founding Collegiate Athlete, Inc. and Blu2, LLC, Frank founded, co-owned and operated CommCard USA, a marketing and database management company. CommCard USA provides interactive voice response capabilities. A retired United States Marine Corps Reserve Officer, Frank currently is a captain for Northwest Airlines. Frank is married and the father of three children. His daughter is an outstanding volleyball player attending the University of North Dakota (Grand Forks). It was his experiences in working with his daughter during the recruiting process that was the forerunner of CAI. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Ruth N. Nelson
Is co-founder and president of Collegiate Athlete, Inc. A featured presenter and lecturer, Ruth will be responsible for the recruitment, selection and training of facilitators as well as the development of strategic partnerships. Ruth is also chief executive officer of brvc inc., a sports marketing consulting company in Dallas, Texas. Among her clients have included Olympic Gold medallist racewalker Yueling Chen and Olympic Volleyball Player Danielle Scott. Ruth’s career spans over 36 years of sport experience. She most recently trained a group of 18 and under student-athletes and assisted all in receiving academic or athletic scholarships to attend NCAA Division I, II and III plus NAIA schools. Ruth has also served as the head women’s volleyball coach at the University of Iowa, Louisiana State University and the University of Houston; was the head women’s volleyball Coach of the USA Junior National Team; and was an assistant coach for the USA Women’s National Team. She was a member of the USA Women’s National Volleyball Team in 1972, 1974 and 1975. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education with a minor in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Science degree in Physical Education from George Williams College.
Pat M. Fisher
Is on the CAEP Advisory Board and is a certified facilitator for the Introductory Seminar, Workshop I and Workshop II. Pat was a former athletics administrator and coach at Division I Lafayette College. While at Lafayette College as an administrator and among her many responsibilities, Pat oversaw NCAA compliance and worked with the financial aid office. Her over 40 years of experience have yielded excellence in teaching, coaching and administration. Pat is a Hall of Fame inductee at Lehigh Valley Basketball Association, East Stroudsburg University and Easton High School. In addition, she has received the Patriot League and East Coast Conference Coach of the Year Awards and Teacher of the Year Award with Easton Area High School. Pat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education from East Stroudsburg State College and a Master’s equivalency degree in athletics administration from East Stroudsburg University.
Annette K. Lynch
Currently serves as director of education and membership services for the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators. Annette is on the CAEP Advisory Board and assists with CAEP Curriculum Development and Facilitator Training. Her professional background includes athletics administration, instructor training, coach and athlete training teaching and presenting. She is grounded in fostering personal development because of her experiences in sport and education. Among many sports, Annette is a former basketball athlete at the collegiate and international levels. But more importantly, her teaching and coaching expertise spans over 35 years at many levels in the mainstream: junior high school, senior high school, NCAA Division I (Lehigh University, Northwestern University and the University of Rhode Island), and Special Olympics. Honors include induction into the Illinois State University and Sterling High School Halls of Fame. Annette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from Illinois State University with a minor in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Education with emphasis on Human Development from Lehigh University.
